NOVA*Klein is a sculptural drinking water fountain with individual selection of minerals and gemstones. A

Collectible work developed in borosilicate glass, the work translates the spatial and perceptual principles of larger installations into a reduced scale, maintaining the same material rigor and experiential complexity.

The structure of NOVA*Klein consists of concentric glass cylinders that form a transparent vertical body. Within this architecture, water circulates through a layered composition of minerals. At its core, a foundational selection of crystals—amethyst, rock crystal and rose quartz—establishes the primary mineral interaction with the water. This is complemented by a customized selection of crystals, individually chosen for each piece. In its upper layers, raw diamond and gold nuggets are introduced, intensifying the interaction between water, mineral composition and light.

Light is an essential element in NOVA*Klein. As it passes through the glass, water and crystals, it reveals the chromatic qualities of the minerals and generates optical phenomena, including the formation of rainbows. These effects are not fixed images but dynamic responses to material conditions.

The work is activated through use. As water is consumed, the water level inside the cylinders shifts, altering the internal geometry of the piece. This change directly affects how light is refracted and how colors appear, making visible the relationship between action and perception. In this way, NOVA*Klein foregrounds a central principle of the series: interaction modifies the installation, and this modification activates awareness of how perception and environment are continuously shaped by human presence.

Produced as an individually numbered work, NOVA*Klein occupies a space between sculpture and daily use. It proposes a personal, durational relationship with the artwork, in which repeated encounters reveal subtle variations over time. Through its scale and precision, NOVA*Klein offers a concentrated experience of water, light and material transformation.
